7-city Documentary Screening - SPINNING DREAMS CAMBODIA

Friday & Saturday, 9th & 10th December 2011

On the 9th and 10th of December, in partnership with the Australian High Commission in Singapore, The Gone Cyclin’ Initiative will be organising an Earth Hour-styled multi-city premiere event on an evening this December for the documentary "Spinning Dreams Cambodia"! 

Held across 7 cities in 4 countries (Singapore, Australia, Vietnam and Cambodia), the screening premiere event will be a celebration of the project as well as Carpets for Communities and the positive impact it has been creating for hundreds of women and children in Cambodia. 

With the presence of local and international media, the event will also be an opportunity for The Gone Cyclin’ Initiative to acknowledge the wonderful contributions and support of our project’s current and to-be sponsors in the coming couple of months and will also include silent auctions and an exhibition of carpets.

Gone Cyclin’ would love to invite you to the screening of the documentary “Spinning Dreams” which follows the Journey of Ashwin Subramaniam and Yasmine Khater as they take on the challenge the Tour de East Timor, Tour de east Timor is a challenging 410 km mountain ride!

An evening where you'll experience the beauty of this young, resilient nation through art exhibitions, cultural showcases and screening of a documentary based on the 410km Tour de Timor mountain bike race in a bid to raise funds for the women weavers and craft-workers in East Timor.
